2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons cardamom
1 tablespoon ground cumin
Thoroughly mix the ground spices and rose petals.
Larger quantities can also be mixed and stored in an airtight container.
Makes 1/2 cup (8 one-tablespoon servings)
The spice mix called for in Persian recipes is sold at Persian groceries, but it is easy to make at home. This basic recipe takes only a few minutes to make, and produces about 1/2 cup.
