Fetacremé with Ajvar - Turkish

1 1/3 cups feta cheese -- crumbled
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon cream -- or as needed
1/2 bunch parsley
Ajvar -- to taste (Turkish red pepper paste)
Crumble feta cheese and puree with yogurt.
If necessary. thin consistency with a little cream to make creamy. Finely
chop parsley and fold in. Season with Ajvar to desired heat. I used 4
tablespoons.
Ajvar's can be found on the Turkish deli shelf. This spread is ideal as a
dip, sandwich spread or barbecue. But it can also be served as a starter
with bread.
Makes around 2 cups (8 one-quarter cup servings)
Preparation time: 10 min
ChupaNote: there are any number of feta cheese spreads in Turkish cuisine.
This one is made with Ajvar, a Turkish red pepper paste similar to
Moroccan harissa.
