Mexican Chocolate Sorbet

1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon Mexican cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne
2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
In a small bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, sugar, Mexican cinnamon,
and cayenne. Pour into a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add the water and
vanilla.
Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until the cocoa and sugar are
fully dissolved. Refrigerate until cold.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream or sorbet maker and churn according to
manufacturer's instructions.
Serves 4
