Add the pine nuts andraisins and saute until the pine nuts turn golden, about 3 to 4 minutes.Add the rice and cook another 2 to 3 minutes. Add the sugar, pepper,cinnamon and
salt, and then stir in the broth. Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Cook 20to 30 minutes, until the broth is absorbed and the rice is tender.
