                         Potsticker Garlic Sauce

     1/4           cup  chik'n broth -- or vegetable
  6                     garlic cloves -- crushed and minced
  1         Tablespoon  finely minced fresh ginger
     1/4           cup  ketchup
  3        Tablespoons  dark soy sauce
  2        Tablespoons  dry sherry
     1/4           cup  cider vinegar
  5        Tablespoons  sugar
  1           teaspoon  chili paste -- or to taste and tolerance

Stir all the ingredients together in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil,
stirring to dissolve the sugar. Set aside or refrigerate in a tightly
covered container.

Makes 1 cup (16 one tablespoon servings)
