Strawberry Granita

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 lb fresh or frozen strawberries
2 TBSP sugar
1/2 lemon -- juice only

Combine the ingredients and macerate overnight.
Blend until smooth; pass through a sieve.
Spread in a 9x13 pan and put in the freezer for 40 minutes. AT that time,
use a whisk (or a fork) and stir the mixture, which should be beginning to
freeze. Scrape well down from the sides. Repeat the whisking/scraping every
twenty minutes until you have a fluffy, icy mix.
While this is best served immediately, you can store it in the freezer -
allow to sit out for about 10 minutes and give it a fluff-up with a whisk
(or a fork) again before serving.
